Clemmie, BMW Motorrad UK’s Digital Marketing Assistant, heads out to Qatar this week for a Motorcycle Training Camp. Find out how it all started for our in-house track day addict…
Having been an avid motorcycle racing fan for years it was inevitable that I would eventually learn to ride. After completing my CBT last August it wasn’t long before I attended my first track day and passing my A2 licence in April has made me want to try and progress even further.

Even though track days in the UK are drawing to a close, I'm incredibly excited to be attending the FIM 'Women in Motorcycling' Training Camp at the awesome Losail Circuit in Qatar (a highlight in both the Moto GP and WSBK calendars). It’s an amazing spectacle; a night race under floodlights in the desert... The Training Camp is part of the FIM's Female Road Racing Development Project which aims to increase the number of female riders in Road Racing. I’m really excited that we’re being provided with BMW S 1000 RRs for the duration of the camp.
