SYSTEM 7 CARBON: SAFETY AND COMFORT

Building on the success of the System 6, the System 7 Carbon sees improvements in every direction.
Fully carbon, the System 7 Carbon t is extremely lightweight and offers ultimate impact protection. Thanks to the quadruple-joint mechanism it is also very compact when open. The chin guard can be removed using 2 buttons without the need for tools - turning the helmet into a fully-fledged open-faced helmet. And with the infinitely adjustable sun visor you can immediately respond to the light conditions. The extremely good ventilation ensures you keep a cool head while the standard double visor provides optimum visibility. The helmet is among the best on the market with regard to aerodynamics and aeroacoustics.
Successor to the System 6 EVO helmet and incorporating the following features:
·      Removable chin guard (within seconds without the use of tools). The helmet is also approved as an open-faced helmet.
·      Full carbon helmet with ultimate impact absorption, lightweight design and maximum rigidity
·      Very good aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, even better aerodynamic performance than the System 6 EVO helmet
·      Integrated sun visor
·      Large, very effective spoiler
·      Integrated communication system optionally available
·      Chin guard with quadruple-joint pivot mechanism
·      Double glazed visor as standard
·      2 sizes of Helmet shell

Final pricing for the System 7 will be confirmed by Motorcycle Live in November, set to start at £450

    3. So, nearly six months on and the supply is still flakey. What is going on? I'm off to France at the beginning of July and really want a new helmet to replace my 5 years old System 6. Come on BMW - get it sorted!

    4. It's an interesting point but as the helmet was only announced in October, the delivery to retailers was always due to be Spring 2017 as far as we're aware. The first System 7 Helmets were delivered to customers in April. The larger helmet sizes are currently in production.

    5. A little worrying that they can't be supplied the same week as ordering. Like above I am also away to France at the end of June beginning of July. Ordered mine end of May.

  18. Hello, I saw a new system 7 helmet at my dealer last weekend. I am interested to know when the communication system to fit the System 7 will also be available and if the new communication system is now able to play music and use the intercom at the same time?
